The club currently runs two full dress colonial balls a year.
Prices are held astonishingly low for a catered ball -
and are even cheaper if you get in early!

31st Colonial Subscription Ball - Saturday 27th August 2011

Celebrate the Bush Music Club’s 31st Subscription Ball with music and dances specially selected to make it a night to remember.

Soak up the ambience of The Maitland Town Hall, situated in High Street, Maitland, with its grand old colonial architecture and its amazing sprung timber dance floor.

Dance to the music of Coalbrook Band, favourites at the Maitland Town Hall for many years.

Dress in your colonial finest and enjoy the spectacle, recreating the splendour of Subscription Balls past.

Arrive to appetisers at 6:30pm and partake of two delicious suppers (savoury & sweet) provided at convenient breaks in the program.

Dances will be taught at practices held in Sydney, Newcastle and the Central Coast.

Early bird ticket price ($45) closes 14th August - after that the price is $55. Price includes dancing and supper.

Practice Sessions
Start 10 am and finish at 4 pm, cost $7, please bring your lunch and a mug, tea and coffee provided. The Pennant Hills Dance Workshop is also holding practice sessions from 1st Aug to 22nd Aug.

The Heritage Ball 2011

The Bush Music Club Inc. will hold its 2011 Heritage Ball in Parramatta Town Hall on 21st May 2011.

Grand March starts at 7:30pm, dance until 12:30am

Another grand occasion for your enjoyment with music by our renowned Heritage Ensemble. Dress in colonial splendour, representing your favourite 19th century fashion (with maybe a bit more "Regency" period this year.) Ball tickets will again be limited. Light supper and refreshments provided during the night.

Tickets are $50 for BMC members, $55 for non-members. A discount of $3 per person can be obtained for a set of 4 couples (8 tickets) booked and paid for at the same time. All tickets purchased after March 31st will be $60 each.

Please indicate that the payment is for ball tickets. You can email info@bushmusic.org.au with a copy of your bank's receipt and a note that it is for ball tickets (names of attendees is helpful).

Continue the festivities at a picnic on Sunday 22nd May from 11am at Goddard Park, Park Ave, Concord (near scout hall). BYO everything.
